DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability (CVE-2023-28252) exists in the Windows Common Log File System (CLFS) driver that allows an attacker to elevate privileges to the system in low-complexity attacks without any user interaction. The vulnerability has been used by hackers and deployed to the ransomware Nokoyawa, CISA has also listed this vulnerability as a prioritize patching object.
